Congratulations on your purchase of a Lexmark device!

Your new device is covered by a one (1) year guarantee from the date of purchase, which you can now extend at no extra charge for an additional four (4) years. The guarantee extension includes free repairs and spare parts, beyond the first year, for up to four (4) additional years.

1. You must register end-user and device information at the www.mylexmarkguarantee.gr website. Required information: First name, Last name, Company name (when the end-user is a company), email, Telephone number, Date of Purchase, Store purchased at, Tax Identification Number.
2. You must also submit (attach) the purchase invoice or receipt within thirty (30) days from the date the device was purchased. The purchase invoice or receipt must include the following information: the reseller’s Name, Address and Tax Identification Number, the issue date, the device’s model number and its unique serial number.

Except for the first (1st) year, you must submit (attach) the purchase invoice or receipt for one (1) original consumable or one (1) set of original consumables, in case of a color device, per year. Specifically:

1. Mono (black and white) devices: you must submit (attach) purchase invoices or receipts for four (4) original consumables to extend your guarantee for an additional four (4) years. With the purchase of one (1) original consumable the guarantee is extended for one (1) additional year. The maximum guarantee extension is four (4) years.
2. Color devices: you must submit (attach) purchase invoices or receipts for four (4) original consumable sets (each set includes four consumables: 1 black, 1 yellow, 1 cyan, 1 magenta) to extend your guarantee for an additional four (4) years. With the purchase of one (1) set of original consumables (four consumables, one per color) the guarantee is extended for one (1) additional year. The maximum guarantee extension is four (4) years.

1. Device or consumable purchase invoices or receipts must be submitted (attached) online through the www.mylexmarkguarantee.gr website. While visiting this site, customers can also check the status of their extended product guarantee and get updates on the remaining term of the guarantee period, the guarantee expiration date, etc.
2. Failure to submit (attach) purchase invoices or receipts within the required 30-day period or submitting (attaching) incomplete purchase information and supporting documents are grounds for not extending the free guarantee period. Purchasers are solely responsible for the timely, accurate and complete submission of all required information and supporting documents.
3. The initial base guarantee for one (1) year and the extended guarantee (for up to four (4) additional years) apply exclusively to devices imported into the Greek market by Infolex SA.
4. The initial base guarantee for one (1) year and the extended guarantee (for up to four (4) additional years) are provided at the head office of Infolex SA and at the authorized service centers in Thessaloniki and Heraklion, Crete. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the end-user.

The initial base guarantee and the guarantee extension do not apply in the following cases:

1. Defect or failure caused by accident, force majeure (fire, flood, theft, explosion, earthquake, war, etc.) or use outside the manufacturer’s specifications, such as use of inappropriate printing media, physical or electrical stress, etc.).
2. Defect or failure caused by the use of non-original manufacturer consumables, accessories or service parts.
3. Defect or failure caused by alteration, modification or maintenance by a servicer not authorized by Infolex SA.

In any case, the implementation of Civil Code provisions regarding seller liability for material defects or lack of agreed qualities is reserved.
